Research On Issue And Countermeasure Of Rights And Interests Assurance Of Rural Migrant Workers In Wenzhou City

For the historical and practical reasons, the issue of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers during urbanization course is not well concerned and due action is not taken to deal with it, thereby a series of complicated social problems arise consequently, which greatly hampers the society from being harmonious and a common issue of "rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers" comes into being. The industrialization, urbanization and modernization course of China will not be expedited and the healthy, harmonious and sustainable development of society will not be realized until the various new social problems brought by rural migrant workers are confronted, emphasized and solved, until the conditions for the rural migrant workers to merge into the city and to become the new citizens are prepared.In this paper, based on the theory of Marxism labor rights and interests, social conflict theory and "deprival theory" of sociology, case of rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City is studied. The qualitative and quantitative methods are combined to analyze the present situation of rights and interests assurance and the root of assurance lack. Furthermore, the necessity of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City is studied. Comprehensive research from multi-discipline and multi-scope is performed to explore and establish new approaches, measures and mechanism to assure legal rights and interests of rural migrant workers, and to provide new reference and consultation for the management of rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City during urbanization course.The paper consists five chapters. In Chapter One, the background and sample selection of research on issue of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers is introduced. In Chapter Two, the theoretical basis of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers is stated, mainly theory of Marxism labor rights and interests, social conflict theory and "deprival theory" of sociology. In Chapter Three, the present situation and problems of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City are analyzed. It is pointed out that rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City lack the rights of labor reward, life health, social assurance and democracy equality, and the deep roots of assurance lack for rural migrant workers in Wenzhou City is analyzed, mainly including system reasons, society reasons, direct reasons and internal reasons. In Chapter Four, successful foreign and domestic experience of rights and interests assurance of rural migrant workers is introduced to enlighten the management in Wenzhou City. In Chapter Five, the suggestions of countermeasure taken to assure rights and interests of rural migrant workers are proposed, including concept renovation, system innovation, quality improvement and supervision execution etc.
