Ideological and moral education of our peasants, which means caring for them, motivating them, improving them and esteeming them as well as mobilizing their energies, is aimed at dealing with their ideological problems, transforming their ideas and conceptions and shaping their world of spirit. This kind of education is one special way to draw attentions to the development and improvement of peasants in order to show the particular values of humanistic care.Whereas in reality, our Chinese peasants' social value is so emphasized in one-sided views that their individual interest and freedom are denounced and their demands are taken no notice of, which contributes to the desperate want of humanistic care of peasants' education in ideology and moral, thus attracting much attention from our Party and government. In order to improve the situation, especially to satisfy the demands of the development of the new period of time, the writer of this article is trying to have this topic discussed and studied, carefully taking humanistic care of peasants into consideration. In the opinion of the writer, to build up a harmonious society and a new socialist countryside, educators should focus on human beings first, showing respect, understanding and care for our peasants. Our work and study should be based on the strong point where agricultural productions are to increase while peasants' life is to be better off, thus improving their working and living conditions.In that case, a democratic and positive political environment is to be created under a democratic management. In the peasants' ideological and moral education, we educators should highly respect peasants, understand their needs and protect their rights. In conclusion, improving the mental taste of the peasants and arousing the body-based consciousness of our peasants will lead to the ultimate humanistic care about our peasants.
