Study On CPC's Advanced Nature Building In Yanan Period

The advanced nature of party building is a Marxist parties'fundamental task of self-construction and the perpetual subject. According to the spirit of the sixteenth Chinese Communist Party National Congress and the fourth Plenary Session of the sixteenth CPC Central Committee, activities of maintaining and keeping the advanced nature of CPC members are hold, and"the advanced nature"has been the subject of widespread concern. January 14, 2005, Hu Jintao, in his report of maintaining the Party's advanced nature in new period, first explicitly put forward"the building of the Party's advanced nature", which is a major strategic thinking. As the core leadership of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, in the face of the changing world situation, the nation and the party situation of the new century and new stage, always been able to maintain the advanced nature in the Party's process of governing, is directly related to national development, social progress and practical interests of the people. Therefore, the building of the Party's advanced nature has the features of urgency with difficulty of long-term.In my opinion, the study on the Party's advanced nature building can learn lessons from history and obtain useful enlightenment besides searching for a solution from the current focus. In this sense,more than 80 years history of our party, is the history of hard pursuing the advanced nature. The first leadership collective in Yanan period, during the practice of leading Chinese revolution, creatively combined Party advanced theory of Marxism-Leninism with the practice of China and successfully solved the issue in the semi-feudal and semi-colonial China, how we established a real Marxist party and keep the Party's progressiveness. Therefore, studying the theory and practice of maintaining the Party's nature, and summing up the basic experiences, will have great theoretical and practical significance. The thesis takes the Party's advanced nature building in Yanan period as the studying object. This study makes an attempt on digging valuable factors from the combination of the Party's nature in Yanan period from historical view, which has great academic value. Also, the study has an important practical significance on providing some precious reference to contribute the Party's advanced nature building of new time.Four parts form the thesis. The introduction part presents the genesis of this study, makes an analysis of the existed researches, and also points out the creativity and structure of this thesis. Chapter 1 reviews the historical background and course of the Party's nature building in Yanan period. Under the certain history circumstance consisted of times, world and nation, the course is divided into three phases in order to facilitate our further investigation, which are primary stage, developing stage and mature stage. In chapter 2 and chapter 3, the advanced nature of the Party in Yanan period is analyzed both in theory and in practice. Chapter 2 focuses on the Party's understanding of the nature, which includes perceptual knowledge and rational knowledge construction procedure. In chapter 3, the basic activities and measures of our Party's advanced nature building in that period are discussed. Chapter 4 summarizes the effects from the building of the Party's nature in Yanan period. Then, some enlightenment on how to maintain and develop the Party's advanced nature in new time is proposed, which is derived from the above experiences in Yanan period. The conclusion part of the paper further confirms the great theoretical and practical significance of the study on the Party's advanced nature in Yanan period.
