Research On Ren Bishi’s Thought And Practice About Party-building During The Period Of Yanan Rectification (1941.5-1945.4)

From May,1941 to April,1945, the Communist Party of China lead a large scale rectification movement in Yanan.In the collective leadership of the first generation,Ren Bishi was a very important member,he joined the rectification movement from beginning to the end.During the period of rectification,it was the most glorious time in Ren Bishi’s political career.He was a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,at the same time,he was a member of Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.He was also the Secretary-General of the CPC Central Committee.He became one of Mao Zedong’s most powerful assistants.If we say that Mao Zedong was the greatest designer in the rectification movement,Ren Bishi was the most competent engineer and the most firm executor.Ren Bishi,with his profound accomplishment of Marxism,Leninism and rich revolutionary experience,made important contributions to the construction of CPC.Firstly,on the ideological construction of the party,Ren Bishi pointed out that "we must use Marxism and Leninism flexibly and actually",and he thought that Mao Zedong’s theory was the only one that suitable for the environment of Chinese revolution. Secondly,on the political construction of the party,Ren Bishi put forward that all the members of CPC must "enhance party spirit,and overcome bad tendencys to unite ourself".He stressed the party’s unity,centrality and the importance that the whole party must obey the leadership of the central committee.Thirdly,on the construction of the party’s organization,Ren Bishi proposed that in Anti-Japanese Base Areas,we must strengthen the party’s unified leadership,and opposed sectarianism,individualism and so on.All the members of CPC,especially the cadres,must receive the education of organizational principles and organizational disciplines.Last but not least,on the construction of the work style of the party,Ren Bishi pointed out that we must change the usual style of leadership.We must keep close ties with the masses,and oppose bureaucracy.To promote democracy and carry out self-cfiticism.Then the spirit of creation was also necessory.During the period of rectification,Ren Bishi was well-known for his unity of knowledge and practice,he made sincere self-criticism many times for his wrong thought in the period of Agrarian Revolutionary War.In addition,he fighted with the wrong thoughts existing in the party firmly.He also helped Mao Zedong led the rectification of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and Northwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.He was responsible for the adjustment and reduction of central authorities.As the Secretary-General of the CPC National Congress,Re Bishi tried his best to make preparations for the meeting.Ren Bishi’s thought of party-building during the period of rectification enriched Mao Zedong’s thought,and made it more systematic and specific.At the same time,Ren Bishi’s thought of party-building played a important guiding role in party-building during the period of rectification and the War of Resistance Against Japan.Ren Bishi’s practice of party-building consolidated Mao Zedong’s leadership in the party, he ensured the unity of the party, created a scientific and efficient operation mechanism for the collective leadership of the first generation.Above all,under the new situation,Ren Bishi’s thought and practice about the party-building during the period of rectification still plays a very important significance to the construction of CPC.
