At present, there are all kinds of shocking domestic violence, while women and children are the main victims, because they are in a weak position in the family status. It is widely recognized that domestic violence crime is the ugly society phenomenon, and it is a malignant tumor in marriage and in the family. Studying and exploring the problem of domestic violence, to curb domestic violence crimes, in order to further safeguard the personal rights and interests of women and children, has caused the importance of the international Governments.Xinyang region will be as an example in this paper. By analyzing and collating the domestic violence data of Xinyang area, taking a combination of theory and method of case, I introduce the status quo of domestic violence in Xinyang region, and analyze its causes. Through the above analysis of the characteristics and the reasons of domestic violence in the region, according to the actual situation in the region and the protection measures of the existing situation, and drawing on the mature practice at home and abroad, I has put forward a number of social, legal measures and recommendations to prevent and control the problem of domestic violence, hoping to play a role.
