| Violent crime is old, common and harmful, which has been important value in theory and practice in criminal academic community. Execution of punishment is serious not only to realize the purpose of the punishment, but also to steady the whole system of the criminal law. From 1850s to modern times, there has been great progress in the concept of execution of punishment, which is the prison, is no longer a place just for detention and punishment, but a one for rehabilitating offenders, and the society also play an increasingly important role in culprits'reintegration. Nowadays, the socialization of execution of the punishment has been accepted internationally. According to the actual situations in China, the research on execution socialization in punishment of imprisonment should be put forward.In this paper, the author makes use of numbers, historical methods, and comparative analysis. Firstly, the concerning stipulations in Chinese criminal law and the conception of the violent crimes were explored. And also the basic theories of the execution socialization were summed up briefly. Secondly, the author pointed out the existing problems and the confront challenges in imprison punishment in our country. Thirdly, the related legislations and system guarantees in the socialization of execution of punishment in other countries and areas were presented, such as the U.K, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the Macao. At the last part of the paper, based on the concept of empowerment, considerations to constitute the system of execution of imprisonment were proposed, for instance, the culprits classification, the structure and function system of Chinese prison, the progressive treatment, the education corrections, and the system for making fully use of social forces to participate in the reformation and rehabilitation, which were come up with suggestions for improvement with a view to promote and better the socialization of execution of punishment in China.
