The Geography Research Of Jun Zhen In Sichuan In Tang Dynasty

Tang Dynasty,the heyday of feudal society of China,had a profound impact on economy and politics as well as military.And it has enhanced the cohesion of the Chinese nationality and promoted the development and progress of the surrounding minority nationality areas.However,there were still many wars in such a powerful dynasty,especially those intermittent wars against Tubo and Nan Zhao,forming a long-term battle.Sichuan,located in such an environment described as "the West anti-Tubo, South hunt quite honestly" in Tang Dynasty.Many "Jun zhen" were established in order to enhance the military defensive strength in Sichuan at that time.Jun Zhen replaced the System of the town of garrison troops,and they not only had the early-stage alarm function,but had the defensive function.This paper attempts to locate and recover the "Jun Zhen" of Sichuan historically in Tang Dynasty from the perspective of historical geography,and seeks to explore the law of their locations and far-reaching implications on the Tang Dynasty.This article is divided into seven parts:The first part is exordium.The author briefly describes the origins of subjects and academic value,reviews the status of academic research,and explains the definition of "Jun Zhen".The second part is the detailed geographic examination of"Jiannanxichuan Jun Zhen" in Tang dynasty.The third part is the detailed geographic examination of"Jiannandongchuan Jun Zhen" in Tang dynasty.
