A Study Of Deng Xiaoping's Thought On Ideological And Political Work

As an important member of our first generation of collective leadership and the core of the second generation of the Party and state, Deng Xiaoping attached great imporance to ideological and political work.Through his summarizing and reflecting the ideological and political work of the forerunner and his own,a unique and relatively complete system has been taken into shape.This dissertation,did a comprehensive survey of Deng Xiaoping Thought on ideological and political work.It mainly contains four chapters:Chapter one discusses how Deng Xiaoping Thought on ideological and political work shaped,which consists of its philosophical and practical basis,premise of times and the source of its ideology and theory.Chapter two gives a clue to the formation and development of Deng Xiaoping Theory and Ideology on ideological and theoretical work,which includes the incubation period(the period of the democratic revolution).the discovering and developing period(from the founding of the New China to the Eleventh Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party)and the maturity period(the time after the Eleventh Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party).In this way,the deyelopment of the thought is much clearer.Chapter three analyzes the ideological system of Deng Xiaoping Thought on ideological and political work,which consists of its status and functions,the fundamental task and goal,the basic principles and methods,and also something about the standard for checking its benefits,etc.It enriches and develops ideological and theoretical work in the Marxism,Mao Tsetung Thought;and becomes one of the most important parts of Deng Xiaoping Theory. Chapter four sums up the characters of Deng Xiaoping Thought on ideological and political work:distinct temporal spirit,confirmed principle,pragmatic style of pursuing practical results,pioneering consciousness of innovation,rigorous spirit of thinking and rich humanity.The concluding part gives some suggestions on how to develop Deng Xiaoping thought on ideological and political work under the new historical conditions,and thus to strengthen our ideological and political work.
