Research On The Functions Of Women's Federation In Transition Period

As the most complete organization with the soundest mass basis and the most influent and authoritative women organization, the functional changes and developments of women federation will definite influence the progress of Chinese women, from the past to today and future. Therefore it is of great importance to research and probe into the functional problems of women's federation in the transition period of China.In the historic changes of China's modernization, the women's federation changes a lot in the background of its existence and operation, and women's federation development and women independence have obtained more opportunities. The leading model of the CPC has been reformed; the role of the government has changed, and the women federation has developed in depth gradually; and new women organizations of various forms have mushroomed. Due to the new condition and new problems in women development and women federation, the socialist market economy has raised new demands to the institution, working content and methods of women organizations.Facing all these new conditions and new problems, the women federations should change its functions to meet the changing demands. It has become an issue of great importance and focus that how women's federation transforms its function as well as takes advantage of its factions, to create a good external environment for women to be employed and to promote women's employment, therefore women's federation represent and maintain the profit and interests of women and realize the essential equalization between men and women.
