The important geography strategic position and the giant oil gas reserves make it becomes the focal point of each international forces' rivalry. When Putin is in power, central Asia becomes Russia and US's main battlefield to carry on the geopolitics competition. Russia and US have launch the keen competition regarding Central Asia's politics, economy, military and development so on. Russia and US have the common interest in Central Asia, also have contradiction that difficult to regulate. Central Asia's importance for Russia is more prominent in Putin's implementation of the powerful nation strategy; Meanwhile, US,the nation has the global strategy is also enlarge its effect on Central Asia.This article takes the gamble of Russia and US on Central Asia in Putin's governing period as the research object, using the International Relations theory and the method, analyzes the strategic benefit of Russia and US and two countries strategic measure in the Central Asia region.
