There are already many researches about family's violence in and abroad.and a lot of achievement both about theory and practices are produced.Although the issues of mental violence which are always included in the issues of family's violence is also paid much attention all over the world.it doesn't have a unified or authorized definition.either a single definition.As for our country.the problem of mental violence has already raised widespread attention in society.but people of many careers have not placed enough importance on it.So.I plan to do more comprehensive and systematic researches on the issues of mental violence.By using the relative rules of other countries and districts for reference.and considering the specific circumstances of our country.I would like to offer the theoretical basis and practical advices for designing the system better.This article includes four chapters besides the preface and the conclusion.Chapter one is the introduction of mental violence including the definition of mental violence.the standards to identify mental violence.the types of mental violence.the causes and the consequences of mental violence.The author thinks that mental violence is the illegal infringement practiced by family members.The causes of mental violence include social.economical.systematical.mental.physical. historical and other factors.And.mental violence will not only harm the victim's mental and physical health.bu:also will cause damage to stability of the society.Chapter two is about the legal and social practices of opposing mental violence in several countries and districts.summarizing and comparing the experiences about opposing the mental violence of England.America.France.Japan and the Taiwan district of China.The author thinks that the measures adopted by these countries or districts such as establishing special laws for family's violence and setting up civil protection order are worth learning for our country.Chapter three summarizes the legal and social practices of opposing mental violence in our country.and points out the defects of our country as for it.These defects include the ignorance of the public.the imperfect factors of the legislation.the inadequate enforcement of the law and the shallowness of the academic researches.Chapter four begin with the principles.specifically addressing the advices on perfecting the measures of opposing mental violence in our country through three angles including legislation,social assistance and social concept.hoping to really eliminate mental violence in our country and realize the true equality and harmony between people.
