On The Islamic Extremism And Its Influence In Pakistan

Islamic issue has been an international political hot one in recent years. This paper intensively focuses on solving the problems as how to view Islamic extremism and its causes and hazards. For years, Pakistan has developed a typical victim of Islamic extremism with its unique geopolitical and historical factors. Since the foundation of Pakistan, the development of its Islamic extremism, which could be easily affected by factors of international environment and great power politics, has experienced four different stages. After "9·11", Pakistan Islamic extremism played an important role in the implementation of domestic and foreign policies, and stimulated the activities of terrorist forces in Central Asia and neighboring countries including northwest China. By analyzing, the development of Pakistan Islamic extremism features long-term and complex and has become an important part of transnational terrorist forces networks, so the containment and beat against Pakistan Islamic extremism should be based on international cooperation. Under such circumstance, it is essential and meaningful for systematically trailing its context development, researching the internal and external motivation of its development, analyzing its nature and hazards, international anti-terrorism strategies, regional security in South Asia, and measures taken to prevent the development of Islamic extremism by China and Central Asian countries.
