Currently, it is difficult for college students to find a job. At this background, the protection of employment interests of college students attracts the concern of the community. Students, in the course of employment, often encountered a variety of violations against their labor rights and interests. The main phenomenon is employment trap and employment discrimination.At present, China has issued a series of laws and regulations in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. The promulgation and the implementation of the Labor Contract Law and the Employment Promotion Act all reflect the spirit of protecting the rights and interests of workers. However, there are still deficiencies. On the one hand, the Labor Contract Law does not contain some subjects. The reasons for dismissal are very abstract. The resolution process of labor dispute is very complex. On the other hand, the provisions of Employment Promotion Act which aim to protect the rights of college students are not operational. At the same time, China's policy measures, the work of college schools and social on protecting the rights of college students yet to be improved.Therefore, after studying the inadequacies of China's domestic laws and regulations, relevant policies and methods on the protection of the rights of college students, I refer to the foreign employment laws and regulations, analyze the protection system of dismissal, labor dispute settlement procedures, anti-employment discrimination legislations, as well as the settings of specialized agency on protecting the employment rights of college students, and the employment services of college schools. Through them I summarize a number of countermeasures to protect the employment interests of students.I believe that there are multi-pronged approaches,firstly improving the quality of students and the legal quality of enterprises, secondly strengthening the career guidance work of college schools, thirdly perfecting the employment laws and regulations, in particular the development of specialized Graduate Employment Act and Anti-employment Discrimination Law, as well as the implementation of the Labor Contract Law.These are all intended to further improve the protection system of employment rights and interests of college students. I hope these approaches will benefit the protection of college students and when their employment rights and interests are infringed, they can seek ways to relieve.
