At present, Europe has the most developed legal system of anti-discrimination in employment all over the world. The anti-discrimination legislation regarding training, employment and job treatment of European Member States has been unified into the European Union. As an important member of the EU, the Netherlands has developed its own legal system of anti-discrimination in employment, which is affected by international human rights law, the EU treaties and directives.The Master's thesis "On the Legal System of Anti-Discrimination in Employment in the Netherlands" focuses on Equal Treatment Law and Equal Treatment Commission; emphasizes the guiding role of international human rights law, the EU treaties and directives; analyses legal system, legal effect, implementing mechanism as well as agencies, and finally summarizes advantages and disadvantages of the anti-discrimination in the Netherlands. On this basis, with a view to better promote the status of China's anti-discrimination in employment, I make a plan to improve ultimately.The thesis consists of introduction, body and conclusion. Introduction puts emphasis on writing purpose and value. Body is made up of four chapters. Chapter I illustrates the three stages of the legal system of anti-discrimination in employment in the Netherlands, which are impacted greatly by European Union. It is the developing background that illustrates how the legal system of anti-discrimination develops. Chapter II introduces three levels of anti- discrimination in employment laws, including international human rights law, the EU's human rights law, as well as the Netherlands' law on anti-discrimination in employment. It is focused on the current legal system, legal effect and three basic systems in the Netherlands, which are developed and evolved by history. Chapter III elaborates the implementation of the legal system of anti-discrimination in employment in the Netherlands, including the implementing mechanism and agencies. The implementing mechanism includes law enforcement, legal assistance, the mobilization of beneficiaries as well as the application of social field. The implementing agencies involve non-governmental organizations, Equal Treatment Commission and the Court, which have become the backbone of the Dutch anti-discrimination in employment. Chapter IV sums up the legal evaluation and social enlightenment of anti-discrimination in employment in the Netherlands. Different social system and different cultural background create different legal system. The advantages are worthy of our study, while we should draw lessons from the disadvantages. Our country should develop and improve the legal system and social attitude. Conclusion comments the necessity and importance of the development of anti-discrimination in employment in China.
