Employment discrimination is existing seriously and widely in china, which has many kinds and one of them is discrimination against women with respect to wages. This research is focus on wage discrimination for equal work between men and women. Based on (1) the analysis of the deeply factors of wage discrimination for equal work between men and women, (2) the introduction of corresponding legislations of foreign countries, and (3) the understanding of the heated controversial theories, this research gives some suggestions to correct wage discrimination for equal work between men and women finally.In the first part, this research gives a brief introduction of the theory of employment discrimination in labor market from definition, characters, and kinds etc. lots of tables and statistics and used to precisely show the serious situation of employment discrimination, and draw forth the problem of wage discrimination for equal work between men and women.In the second part, this research firstly introduces the huge wage gap between men and women, and then analyzes the direct factors and indirect factors.In the third part, this research attaches great importance of legislation of equal pay for equal work of men and women, and then introduces the mature legislations of foreign countries and the common traits of them; finally, this research makes some statement of equal pay for comparable worth.In the last part, this research puts forward two suggestions to correct the wage discrimination for equal work between men and women: the first one is to publish anti-discrimination law and equal pay act; the second is to build equal employment opportunity commission.
