Through the comparative method and applying the principle of the relationship of theory to practice, the article discusses some problems of the parole system, and brings forward some advice on it.The origin and development of the parole system has a lot of thing to do with the change of punishment concepts, such as general prevention, special prevention, retribution and restitution.The article consists of four parts. In chapter one, it discusses the theory and the function of the parole system. In chapter two, it expatiates parole status quo in China the problem in it and analyses the causation. In chapter four, contra posing the problems of parole system in our country, it puts forward some advice on innovation and perfection of the of parole system, including procedure and supervision in parole.
