As The Threshold Of Sustainable Development Under The Research On Inter-generational Equity

Justice is the main theme during the whole progress of human development,which has received many scholar's attention and the research of the domestic and foreign countries. Judging from the main body of a fair, justice is including the intra-generational equity and inter-generational equity. Intergenerational equity problem is accompanied by the ecological and environmental issues and highlight the outstanding, they are referring to a fair from generation to generation, that is the division in the use of natural resources and protection of the environment on the rights and obligations between contemporary and future generations. Every generation has to preserve and choose the natural and cultural diversity, to enjoy a higher quality of life, while it is under an obligation to future generations to preserve natural and cultural resources. Inter-generational equity issue is a basic value orientation of the theory of sustainable development. Sustainable development is not only to meet the needs of contemporary people, but also not against the ability of the development for future generations to meet their own needs. As an important part of the principles of sustainable development, inter-generational equity has been widely accepted in the field of international law, and approved in many international treaties directly or indirectly.This article is based on the context of sustainable development, discussed the inter-generational equity issues under the threshold of sustainable development, the main writing ideas is on the basis of ideas approach syllogism: to ask questions - analyze the problem - to solve the problem, it is carried out like such a process. This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction part. Mainly related to the background of the inter-generational equity issues, the concept discrimination of inter-generational equity, as well as status quo of inter-generational equity research at home and abroad, the last is to study the theoretical value and practical significance of inter-generational equity.The second part is theoretical basis part of inter-generational equity. It is about the main concept of sustainable development, scientific development concept, the Marxist concept of eco-ethics on related discussion to inter-generational equity.The third part is discussing the status quo and the reasons of inter-generational equity issues. First, an objective evaluation of the status quo: the environment inter-generational conflict (serious water pollution, global warming, resource exhaustion, loss of biodiversity, etc.) as well as inter-generational conflict of interest. In analyzing the basis of the status quo, it is made a more thorough analysis for the reasons of status quo from thinking and an objective history.The last part is based on the first few parts and discussed the ways to achieve the inter-generational equity under the threshold of sustainable development. First, put forward the idea changes, such as enhancing the environmental awareness of citizens, and foster inter-generational care and the concept of sustainable consumption. Followed by the emphasis on the guidance of scientific concept of development, adhere to the sustainable development strategy, which involves a number of specific measures, and finally is to establish and perfect legal system. In this part, it is refer to establish the constitutional status of the strategy of sustainable development, as well as recognizing the rights of future generations in the law, so that it can provide legal protection in achieving inter-generational equity.
