The issued and enacted of The Understanding Of Questions about Judgements Relating to Civil Trials of Domin-Name(Shorted as The Understanding of Domin-Name in later part of the essay) by the Supreme People's Court of China in July 2001 granted a right of assumption of Domin-Name Brands to the Court. Untill now, China's system of the Court-assumpted Domin-Names has been in use for seven years. The Domin-Name Brands represent the trustbility of the civil society and become an important credence for the consumers to buy products and services. With China's market economy developing in greater depth and the developing judicatory needs by the enterprises of Domin-Name Brands assumpted by the Court, objectively forced the improvment of relevent laws. However, we could not deny the fact that the current law system can't satisfy the need of the practice in society. The primary task is to establish an uinified, fair, scientific and integrate Court-assumption system of well-known brands by the Court. This essay of three chapters studis and discusses the behaviors and regulations of Court assumpted well-known brands, and proposes opinions and suggestions.The first chapter elaborates and analyzes the existent problems of judicatory definition of well-known brands. After elaborating the judicatory definition of well-known brands, this paragraph mainly introduces the reasons of current situations and problems and analyzes the reasons.The second chapter researches international conventions and foreign judicatory determining well-known by comparison, and discovers the significances of learning and reference from these rules and regulations.The third chapter based upon China's reality, offers presumptions and suggestions of the behaviors and regulations of China's brands assumpted by the Court.
