The Thinking And Problems On New Grass-roots Communist Youth League

The remarkable achievements have resulted from 30 years of reform and opening up in China. But with rapid development of Chinese economy and scoicety, the new problems have been emerging among the youth groups:employment, education, morality, psychology, Internet addiction, violence and suicide. In terms of age and number, young people have become the main groups of social problems. Threrefore, for the Chinese Communist Youth League, one youth organization led by the Chinese Communist Party, it requires careful thought and needs solving as soon as possible to consider how to do the work of the Communist Youth League under the new situation, to unite, lead and serve the youth better, to enhance the vitality and vigor of the grassroots organizations in order to finish the missions of the organizations. Restricted by traditional working ideas, working methods, cadre selection and organization and management, the Chinese Communist Youth League lags behind the reform of the Chinese Communist Party and the times change, and has emerged out of the current youth groups. In addition, the rapid flow and promotion of the Communist Youth League cadres result in some impetuous young cadres as well as the work of a mere formality, which results in that the Communist Youth League are unable to penetrate the work of young people so that they are unable to meet the principles of "right for the people, love the people, benefits for the people". And even in recent years, officialdom scandal and disapproval have emermged, the vicious circle leading the Communist Youth League to become increasingly " chicken ribs " in the youth groups.In this paper, field visits, questionnaires, interviews were used to survey the current situation of the youth and the work of the Communist Youth League in Zhifu District, Yantai for half one year. It summarized hot issues and the status of the yong people, and focused on the feasibility of direct elections for Communist Youth League Organizations in streets. This paper argues that the bottleneck of traditional work can be broken through only through the direct election of the leading agency for grassroots organizations, so that the real principle of "from the young people, to the young people" can be achieved. On this basis, the grassroots organizations should seriously study the Chinese Communist Party's theoretical methods on mass work, will all work closely to design around the needs of young people, will implement all activities firmly based on the characteristics of young people, will combine the group's work with the central points of the party, as well as combine group work with the needs of the youth, and will give a clear positioning for them.It suggests that the network of rapid response system for the Communist Youth League should be created so as to understand the new laws of the League with a new perspective and address new situations and new problems in the Communist Youth League so that the thoughts, acts and means are more in line with development of the situation and the needs of young people. The League not only takes a clear-cut stand on the ideological guidance-to occupy youth with the mainstream thinking and sound, but also learns how to use "translation" capabilities-to translate lofty principles into small tokens using young people's language and style accepted easily by them in order to mobilize the maximum enthusiasm and creativity of the youth.
