Studying inner-party supervision plays a significant role in preventing some party members abusing power or controlling corruption, keeping close touch with the masses, consolidating CPC's executive position, accomplishing CPC's ruling mission, and building a well-off society in an all-round way. Since the Third Plenary Session, especially accompanied by deepening reform and opening up, China has entered a new period of socialist modernization.Central leadership attached great importance to inner-party supervision issues. In practice, they explored innovative and have made great breakthroughs and achievements from the content to form. Inner-party supervision has been placed a regular and scientific track. But now inner-party supervision has some problems that must be solved, so inner-party supervision problems have great research value. At present, most of the studies are somewhat special and general theories of technology, comprehensive, systematic studies are less. From the point of history and political science, this thesis woke up to the importance and urgency of inner-party supervision on the current, recalled the development course of inner-party supervision, summed up successful experiences and analysed problems of inner-party supervision, and then focused on strengthening and improving current effective ways of inner-party supervision. This thesis discussed the following five parts:The first part is strengthening the construction of inner-Party supervision of the CPC significance. This part from nature of the CPC's ruling status and requirements; the new situation of reform and opening up the urgent requirements; building a socialist harmonious society important protection in three aspects to strengthen and improve the CPC overseeing construction of major significance.The second part is recalling the development course of inner-party supervision mainly by the monitoring system and monitoring mechanism. This part was divided into three historical phases to explain: exploration stage from the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee to the Fourth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Central Committee; development stage from the Fourth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Central Committee to the Sixteenth National Party Congress; integrity stage from the Sixteenth National Party Congress to now.The third part is summing up successful experiences of inner-party supervision. There are five experiences: organizational building is the first work and important foundation of inner-party supervision; supervision institutionalization and standardization are the key to strengthen inner-Party supervision; supervising leading organs and leading cadres, especially the main persons is the most important issue; developing democracy within the party is the power source and strong support of inner-Party supervision; Inner-Party Supervision combination with outside monitoring is an effective way to strengthen inner-party supervision.The fourth part is analyzing inner-party supervision problems. There are some problems in consciousness of the inner-party supervision, monitoring mechanisms, monitoring system, monitoring channels, and inner-party democracy development. This is the main basis for continuously strengthening and improving the construction of inner-Party supervision.The fifth part is proposing ways to strengthen inner-party supervision. There are four ideas: raise awareness of inner-party supervision and strengthen inner-party supervision of the responsibility; strengthen the supervision of power and build a strong and effective supervision and control mechanisms; improve and implement the system of inner-party supervision to institutionalize inner-party supervision; broaden the channels of supervision and build a full range of three-dimensional supervision network. This is the focus and the end result of this thesis.
