Philosphical Review On The Moral Construction In Contemporary China

Moralities are an eternal topic in human's life, which reflect human's nature in society, represent different humanistic spirits in different societies, and combine human's way of life and human's meanings in each generation. Immanuel Kant said:"There are two things in human's life.The more we reckon on them, the more admiration and awe we get from the two things——the sky and moral principles.Therefore, we examine the moral construction in china from the point of philosophical view, from which we prove human's ideological value and significance."The introduction part starts from the moral practice in China's moral construction analyzes the present moral situations in China's moral construction, and states the author's views and reseach on China's moral construction.Chapter One deals with the general problems in contemporary China's moral construction. After grasping the definition, the nature and the meaning of moral construction, the nature and the meaning of moral construction, its features and significance are explored to clarify what moral construction is.Chapter Two focuses on the analyses of contemporary moral constructions in China.First, the achievements in contemporary moral construction are combed,ie,the moral construction in the early period of China's Open-up,the moral construction in the socialist market economy,promoting the moral construction among citizens and the moral construction in the Well-off society. The chaper analyzes the present moral situations in China from the following 3 aspects:moral disappearence, moral responsibility misplacement and weak moral ability. This part also analyzes, four contradicts and their causes——socialism and market economy, traditional society and modern society, fairness and efficiency in social transition, individual interests and social responsibilities.Then we get a further understanding of the dilemma that China is facing in its moral construction. Chaper Three explores the basic ways we can follow in China's moral construction. We have to do as what the 16th People's Congress Report requires, to strictly abide by 3 fundamental requirements, and 3 basic contents and 2 basic targets,and doing some research on related strategies.The paper's aim is to provide positive methods for our society, then to review what can be done in China's contemporary morality construction.
