Study On Information Management Of Government

The efficient government information management is the base and conditions for the government authorities to make scientific decision and implement correct leadership. As a special work of government authorities, the government information work has been developing for more than 20 years, growing out of nothing, expanding from small to big, and turning from weakness to strength, it has become the indispensable vital element during the course of government operation, and its position and role has becoming prominent.This paper starts from the necessity of government information management firstly, introduces the basic content of government information management, analyzes the situation of government information management at present, finds the reasons of existed problems, puts forward the countermeasures, points out ways to strengthen and improve, and reaches the aim of improving the level the government information management for providing reference for perfecting work of government information management further under the new situation.The final aim of government information management is to provide timely, quick, whole, corrective, suitable and various information in a great deal. With the deep development of reforming and opening to the outside world and economic construction, different information increases sharply and changes constantly. Under new situation and with new task, the information working persons are required to enhance information sense increasingly, keep the best working status, and improve the level of consciousness of information work. The working persons must perfect the working system, enhance business training, improve the processing way of government information, and raise the comprehensive operation standard. The information working persons must grasp the key link of government information management, aim at the key problems, adopt practical and effective measures, and make efforts to heighten the government information work to a new level.Facing the rapid development of global informationization and the higher requirement to the government decision, it has become noticeable topic for enhancing and improving the work of government information management at present to study the basic theory and knowledge of government information management, analyze and discuss the basic principles and the operation skills of government information work, view the existing problems and put forward the countermeasures to solve the problems. This paper discusses reliably some problems of government information management under the new situation, simultaneously it provides a new thinking way for enhancing and improving the work of government information management.
