Through summarizing and analyzing theories about regional technology innovation and government marketing, this paper comes up with an analyzing framework which shows that government marketing can promote the efficiency while government playing its role in regional technology innovation. Further more, this paper investigates the situation of Suzhou Industrial Park, finds its main problems and gives several suggestions.There are seven chapters in this paper. The first chapter summarizes research results on technology innovation and government marketing; on the basis of this, the paper shows its main problem and research design. Chapter two and three analyzes theories about regional technology innovation and government marketing, which lays a solid foundation for further research. Chapter four concludes and analyzes roles government plays in regional technology innovation. Chapter five analyzes how marketing tools reinforces government's roles and promotes its efficiency in regional technology innovation. Chapter six analyzes in details how government can use the classical strategy tool-4ps to enhance its regional technology innovation ability. Chapter seven uses all the above mentioned frameworks synthetically to investigates government marketing situation of Suzhou Industrial Park, finds out main problems and then gives some corresponding suggestions. Finally, the conclusion of this paper concludes all the research results of this paper and points out some limitations and some topics which needs further study.
