Study Of The Lei Feng Spirit Moral Value To The College Students

Lei Feng Spirit is a moral paradigm that has the most profound impact on Chinese people during the half century lately. President Hu Jintao once stressed "Lei Feng Spirit had, and has a great value and significance to our nation and society, both in the past and nowadays". Lei Feng is a representative of Chinese traditional virtue, a model having the most far-reaching influence, and meanwhile he is the important embodiment of realization of moral education. As to moral education of college students, Lei Feng Spirit is a moral resource that should never be ignored or forgotten. But with the development of times, moral education of "willing to benefit others instead of themselves" gradually became a "utopian" idea. And Lei Feng Spirit gradually disappears in our sight, and is being forgotten little by little. It becomes an important subject in our times that how to activate the moral influence of Lei Feng Spirit and have it glorious again, and make it to be moral education source, from which college students could learn and benefit a lot.Based on the study on collection of Hunan Lei Feng Memorial Hall, this paper analyzes Lei Feng's diaries in detail and restores the image of Lei Feng. Combined with years of social studies and reports, it studies Lei Feng Spirit from four composing aspects of the moral education in colleges, and sums up the modern connotation of Lei Feng Spirit. According to the surveys and interviews on cognition status of Lei Feng Spirit in the campus, it summarizes the positive and negative views and analyzes the reasons from the ethical viewpoint, and gets the conclusion that requirements to students should be practical, new campus model should be reasoning advocated, students should be well guided on dealing with the relationship between benefit and justice, moral education building should be well cared, and the influence of Lei Feng Spirit should be properly understood. In the following, it systematically analyzes the practical value of Lei Feng Spirit on college students' moral education from fours aspects:morality ideality, morality view, morality cultivating ways, and morality savvy, as well as its role in cultivating the socialist core value system. At last, starting form routes of firming ideality, changing conception, paying attention to practical effect, and sparking to learn from Lei Feng, it pointed out the specific measures on how to influencing college students' moral education with Lei Feng Spirit.
