| Feng Youlan is an outstanding philosopher,historian of philosophy and ethicist in the modern history of China.His moral education thoughts are of great significance to The Times,and there are many unique theoretical views among them,which are still of great value to the contemporary moral education.Based on the existing research on Feng Youlan’s moral education thoughts,this dissertation attempts to clarify the influence of the background of the times and various thought theories on Feng Youlan’s moral education thoughts through textual study and comparative analysis,in order to further explain the unique features of Feng Youlan’s moral education thoughts,And further clarify its reference and enlightenment for current moral education.Anyone’s thought is the product of the times,and it is also the inheritance and development of the thoughts of the predecessors.Therefore,in order to understand Feng Youlan’s moral education thought,we must examine its special era background and its ideological origin.It must be seen that the invasion of western powers,the collision of Chinese and Western cultures,the influence of traditional Confucianism,Zhu Xi’s ideological theory,and western culture are the prerequisites and theoretical basis for understanding Feng Youlan’s moral education.On the whole,Feng Youlan’s moral education ideas are basically presented in a series of his philosophical works,and the content is very rich.It must be seen that the key to deciphering Feng Youlan’s moral education lies in a deep understanding of his philosophy.Through this deciphering process,it is not difficult to find that Feng Youlan’s theory of human nature,humanity,rationality,and knowledge and behavior all fully demonstrated his unique moral education ideas.On this basis,this dissertation further analyzes and points out that "The realm of morality" and "the realm of heaven and earth" are Feng Youlan’s goals of moral education,"respect for sincerity" and " golden mean" are Feng Youlan’s principles of moral education,From "teaching" to "cultivation" and from "inner" to "holy" are Feng Youlan’smethods of moral education.Although Mr.Feng Youlan has passed away,his moral education thought still has the era penetrating power to this day.This dissertation believes that,whether it is the theory of human nature in Feng Youlan’s moral education thoughts,or the moral education principles and methods proposed by him,the light of thought is still shining in China today.In particular,it is necessary to point out that Feng Youlan’s ideas on moral education,such as "establishing ambitious goals for moral education,shaping ideal moral personality,and creating a good atmosphere for moral education",which can play a concrete and positive role in contemporary Chinese moral education.Of course,any thought is bound to be limited by the times and individuals.Therefore,this dissertation also attempts to analyze the limits of Feng Youlan’s moral education. |
