Research On Rural Grass-roots Party-mass Relations In New Period

The grass-roots party-mass relations is a microcosm between social and party .It epitomizes the thing, style and working state of the moral party member cadres. In the land reform period, the grass-roots party-mass relations has always revolved around the land issue. The Communist Party closely linked the people is to seize state power in close with the broad masses of the people. The grass-roots party-mass relations in this period reached an unprecedented climax. During the People's commune period, the resources are controlled by party to resolve the problem of detracting, lagging, in-efficiency in economy. Productive force is promoted in rural areas with the household contract responsibility system, and the peasants have gained more freedom.In1988, villager self-government has begun in China which changed the relationship of leadership and the led being existed between township government and villager committees. The rigid structure of rural grassroots party-mass relations are broken completely and party-mass relations became closer in a greater degree with the abolition of agricultural taxes in 2006, which also make certain effects on grass-roots party-mass relations. At the same time, the grass-roots masses have gained greater autonomy and initiative, even some party member cadres ideologically relax in thinking. They collapsed themselves in the "sugar-coated bullets ", which also makes certain effects on grassroots party-mass relations.
