The Historical Evolution And Practical Enlightenment Of The Catching-up Strategy Of The Four Generations Of The CPC's Core

Catching-up strategy is the comprehensive policy configuration which is taken by backward countries and regions to get rid of the countries'backwardness in the economic, political, cultural, and other aspects. Since sixty years after the founding of China, the Chinese Communist Party leaders of four generations have put forward their own distinctive characteristics of the catching-up strategic thinking, and have a significant impact in guiding the Chinese people in the process of catching-up practice. To study their historical evolution and practical enlightenment of the catching-up strategy has an important theoretical and practical significance on summing up historical experiences and accelerating China's socialist modernization process.The whole text is divided into five parts:Introduction section provides an overview of the background and significance this topic, as well as the academic research of this area.The first chapter discusses the relevant theory and practical background of catching-up strategy. Firstly, present the understanding of the nature of the catch-up strategy; secondly, sum up the Marxist classical writers'relevant theory of this issue; thirdly, summarize systematically the thoughts and practices of catching up strategy in modern history of China; and finally, analyze the concrete implementation of catch-up strategy for country-studies: Japan, the United States and Latin America countries.The second chapter mainly analyzes the historical evolution of catching-up strategy of the four generations of CPC's core. This section analyzes this issue mainly in three aspects: the background, the objectives and the strategies.The third chapter mainly analyzes the practical enlightenment of the catching-up strategy of the four generations of the CPC's core. Conclusion points out that we should take the scientific concept of development to guide the economic and social development and implement the scientific catching-up strategy.Innovations of this article are mainly in the following three points: First, bring forward a new definition of the nature of the Catching-up strategy.
