Folk culture is associated with culture structure and people's daily life,it plays an important role in people's daily production and life and entrust people's certain faith and belief.today it still plays an essential role in the vast rural areas. Henan lies in the center of China.It is the source of the Chinese nation and the Chinese civilization.lt plays an important role in the emergence and development of the national culture.It is said that "the history of Henan accounts for half of the Chinese history".The status and effect of Henan culture is obvious.With the development of times,folk culture and it's content,form and way of inheritance are subject to strong impaction.It has a reasonable side:the negative content and the form which fallen bahind the modern society had conflicted with the modern mode of production,life style and the advanced culture.It also has an unreasonable side:the positive,reasonable content and form of culture heritage had been hit,it did not receive effective protection,development and utilization. How to deal with the infiltration from economy and technology of. the developed country?How to meet people's spiritual needs in the process of modernization?How to deal with the increasing blending of culture and economy?These are crucial issues concerning the survival and sound development of Henan rural folk culture.Culture is the reflection of politics and economy.The ups and downs of the national culture portrayed the development of the nation.In 2005 the historical task of building socialist new countryside was put forward by the Communist Party,which had the rural culture construction been promoted.The Communist Party Central government and the State Council issued some important documents,such as "Views on Further Enhancing the Construction of Rural Culture".The third session of 17th CPC made "to promote urban and rural public service equally,to further flourish rural culture and to carry out rural culture rights and interests" as one of the capital goals of rural reform and development.China's rural culture construction,the protection and development of traditional folk culture are getting more and more attention. On the basis of research to rural folk culture,this essay analyzed the process to modernization of rural folk culture in Henan province.
