| What should badminton players focus their attention on while serving? Different levels of athletes will pay attention to the same position, it may bring different results. Compared to internal focus, high-level players will pay attention to the external, motor learning and performance will be better; and low-level players will pay attention to the internal, that is concentrated in every stage of executing, is beneficial to skill acquisition. Most previous studies examining attentional focus effects used outcome measures, hardly used performance production measure. In this article, not only measuring the results of the movement, but also EMG activity to test high, low levels players when adopting different attentional focus. Collected the EMG. of deltoid muscle, biceps, triceps, brachioradialis, etc.In this study, laboratory experiment to study attention focus differences when serving on the Performance of Badminton Athletes. Test the difference of performance of high-low levels athletes while adopting different attention focus, randomly selected two athletes from the high level to collect EMG activity, to examining whether attentional focus can affect EMG activity. The results show that, high-level athletes adopting internal focus, disrupting the automation process, the movement accuracy went down. Low level players pay attention to the internal, accuracy higher than external focus. The results showed of EMG activity:IEMG of high level is higher when paying attention to internal, indicating that athletes when paying attention to the outside, the execution of movement follow "economic principles", that is, less strength can be done better task. When paying attention to internal, the activation time of muscle will be less.In this study examined attentional focus effects have used both performance outcome and production measures.. |
