In the world multi-polarization and economic globalization today, the competition between countries are mainly based economic strength and technological power of competition in comprehensive national strength, while the economic and technological development is inseparable from people, so that current and future international competition in the final analysis, competition for qualified personnel. Who has more and better qualified personnel, who will be able to gain the initiative in the competition to win the future. Therefore, for any one country, talent is a national treasure and talent level of quality is directly related to the country's position in the world. Ancient China, a big country, in order to be able to stand in the twenty-first century in the East, standing among the nations in the world, we must cultivate their own talents to achieve great power of human resources into human resource power, comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper is divided into four parts:the first part of the definition of the concept of talent, from the start what is talent and the modern concept of qualified personnel to compare the Confucian concept of talent. The second part of the Confucian talent and talent level of the standard classification. The third part is the Confucian cultivation and selection. The fourth part is the modern meaning of the Confucian concept of talent.
