Research On The Social Interest Differentiation And Integration In Building A Harmonious Society

During the three decades of China's reform and opening up, social development and institutional transformation have made remarkable achievements that have attracted worldwide attention, but various social problems also appeared, such as wide income gap, urban and rural region development imbalances, employment issues, issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers and serious environmental pollution etc. These problems have greatly reduced China's economic development achievement and affected the people's enthusiasm in building a harmonious socialist society. How to solve these problems properly is a key subject to the Party and the country, and is also a major practical problem in the process of building a harmonious society. Through investigation and research, the paper attempts to put forward that the key to solve these problems is a reasonable distribution of social interests, and the reasonable distribution of social interests must be based on the scientific realization of social interest differentiation.Along with China's rapid economic development, the society is constantly changing toward the direction of interest differentiation; different interest groups have also emerged successively.. China has entered the period with more prominent problems in social interests. In order to maintain social stability and harmony, security and prosperity of the country, the status quo, reasons and possible outcomes of social interest differentiation and integration must be recognized, solutions to relevant issues should be proposed to promote building a harmonious socialist society in China.In the paper, the author has drawn on the dominant analytical ideologies from Marxist classics on the issues of interests, further straightened out and summed up the Marxist writings'elaboration on the issue of interests, and illustrated the philosophical basis of social interest differentiation and integration. Then, combining the practical questions in building a harmonious society in our country and the adverse effects of the related issues on interest differentiation, the paper has further analyzed and attempted to put forward its causes and corresponding solutions based on the Marxist concept on interests.The main contents of the paper are divided into four parts: the first chapter has represented the theoretical basis and significance of social interest research; the second chapter has introduced an overview of the current interests of our society and the theoretical basis of differentiation and integration; the third chapter has expounded the status quo, causes and hazards of China's social interest differentiation; the fourth chapter has explored the interest integration path for building a harmonious society.
