Full-time compulsory education'Mathematics Curriculum Standards'says,'Teachers should make full use of modern educational technology to help mathematics teaching, develop vigorously and provide students with rich learning resources. Teachers should use modern educational technology as students'powerful tools of learning mathematics and solving problems. They should be committed to changing the ways students learn, make students be willing and devote more effort to reality and exploratory teaching activities. With the promotion of modern information technology and the improvement of teaching conditions in schools, using modern information technology to help teaching has been one of teachers'daily teaching ways. It is common that most teachers use pre-made courseware in class. In the teaching process, if students come up with different views from teachers in pre-design ideas. Teachers are often not timely follow-up and modified. Even the teaching order has been disrupted. This makes even the status of a leading role in the education of teachers were over reinforced. The dominant position of the education of students is no way to be fully guaranteed. It is well-known that the characteristics of mathematics themselves decide that teachers can not play music in class and meanwhile analyze mathematical problems. Teachers can not simply copy from the blackboard to the screen process. Therefore, an appropriate educational software for mathematics teachers is very important. The Geometer's Sketchpad is the disciplinary nature of teaching software produced by Key Curriculum Press in the United States. The Geometer's Sketchpad is the fundamental mathematics and characterized by dynamic geometric(dynamic geometric means making on the computer screen geometry, change and movement can maintain its original geometry, such as total points, total vertical , parallel, etc.) The Geometer's Sketchpad is easy to learn and powerful. In particular, the platform can be used as experiment tools for students. It is convenient for students to do inquiry learning. In the course of the study authors found that middle school teachers in the teaching process mostly use the Geometer's Sketchpad to help research the geometric problems. And in the actual operation of the process are often based on teachers. The role of students is still in attendance. This article starts from function of the teaching process. Let students try to the Geometer's Sketchpad. Use the Geometer's Sketchpad to explore issues. Find out the conclusion. Hope that through this practice , students can explore a hand-on'do math'. It can be the new way of learning in the operation. Through this practice, while exploration has once again proven Geometer's Sketchpad in the process of teaching junior high school function to mobilize students for the enthusiasm to enhance student learning the role of mathematics self-confidence.
