The traditional mathematics teaching pays great attention to teacher's teaching while the student only studies passively. The main body function of students has not displayed. Under the background of the education for all-around development, the malpractice of the traditional mathematics educational model is getting more and more obvious. The ordinary high school new curriculum reform sped up the high school mathematics teaching pace of reform. Along with computer technology's swift development and the widespread application, mathematics and computer technology's relation is also getting more and closer. Under this kind of situation, many mathematics teachers pay attention to the question of how to display the superiority of the information technology. Mathematics experiment appears after the computer technology and mathematics teaching software. Mathematics experiment teaching will carries on the major step to the reform of traditional middle school mathematics teaching.Such teaching way can raise student's power of thought and operation ability and play student's main body role and teacher's leading role fully. Mathematics experiment teaching is helpful in the student constructs mathematics cognitive structure and the understanding mathematics essence, and it is also helpful in raising student's inquisition spirit and creation ability. Mathematics experiment teaching also has the positive role to teacher's role and the education teaching idea's transformation.The present paper is based on the author's daily high school mathematics teaching practice. Firstly, the paper introduces the reasons of developing mathematics experiment teaching in the high school t and the present situation of domestic and foreign related research, and then introduces to the Geometer's Sketchpad software and mathematics experiment. The paper introduces the significance and the rationale of mathematics experiment teaching in detail. Unifies the related literature material, the paper introduces the high school mathematics experiment teaching's fundamental type, the essential feature and the basic principle. Finally the research conclusion is that developing mathematics experiment teaching is the reform to the traditional high school mathematics teaching, which has the influential role regarding student's mathematics study, simultaneously also has the significant significance regarding teacher's teaching.Along with new curriculum reform unceasingly thorough, mathematics experiment teaching will certainly to become the important way of mathematics education.
