The new curriculum reform of geography in high school stressed the need to be useful for life, which required us guiding students to learn how to learn and to emphasize the strategic knowledge learning. The map is an important carrier of geographic information. The comprehensive and regional of geographic decide that the map should be the main tool of studying geography in secondary school. The map can display the morphological characteristics, the number features, and the temporal -spatial distribution of geographic things, but also can be expressed the laws and theory of geographic. Teaching of map is an important part and difficulty in secondary school geography. How to master the strategic knowledge in maps is the focus of our teaching.The contents of the study include five chapters:the first part is the thesis of the opening chapter, focused primarily on the origins, background of research ideas methods and research content of the topics. The second part reviews the study of the strategic knowledge from the perspective of strategic knowledge of studying of the map in high school. The characteristics in domestic and foreign research results have been collated and analyzed, based on the analysis of strategic knowledge in various disciplines in the research were analyzed. Part III points out the problems of teaching high school map, and highlighted the strategic knowledge for the study of high school map the significance of the new curriculum reform. In the problem analysis, the main combination of students and teachers in the teaching of the problems of the causes of the problem of teaching high school map analysis. The fourth part is the core of this article, the map of the school's strategic knowledge of various types of maps summarizing. PartV described the theoretical basis for teaching secondary school maps and teaching methods, and made a map of the teaching strategy of geographic knowledge in preparing students for Path Analysis; described the learning-based strategic map of teaching in secondary schools teaching objectives, teaching content and teaching strategies such as classroom design, and in cases be corroborated.
