The Curriculum Criteria of Common High School points out that through teaching, students can plan, reflect, evaluate and adjust the process of English learning, and accordingly improve the ability of autonomy learning in English class. How to promote learning ability, cultivate creativity and practice capability among students has already become the focus of education around the world. Cultivation of students'reflective learning ability is just the most effective way to achieve this goal. This study aims to foster creative consciousness and ability in English class teaching by the cultivation of students'reflective learning ability. In order to guide students to do reflective English learning effectively, I worked out Questionnaires on English Reflective Learning among High School students with reference to related documents at home and abroad and integration of the features in English teaching. The subjects of questionnaires involve 120 students of Senior One in ZiChuan No.1 Middle School. I found that most freshmen in our school didn't have the knowledge of reflection. We need to help them with studying method.During the experiment, the whole process of learning is divided into three stages, pre-class, while-class and after-class .Students are helped to keep learning notes, fill reflective cards, and watch learning video so as to develop their reflection. By analyzing the results of three tests including test before experiment, mid-term test and final-term test, I could make a conclusion that the experiment is successful.
