With the development of society and the progress of education, students'individuality is more and more paid attention to. However, class teaching system widely used in schools at present has a obviously drawback that ignores individual differences among students and suppresses students'individuality. At the basis of our country's current education, this paper wants to discuss how to implement individual instruction at the background of class teaching system.In order to carry out individual instruction, we have to understand individual instruction deeply. At fist, this article will explain individual instruction. Then analyzes the significance of implementing individual instruction. There are many kinds of teaching methods to develop the personality of students, why do we choose individualized teaching? Of course, there are many reasons: Individual difference among students is the foundation of individual instruction; We can implement individual instruction in order to develop students'personality and achieve the fair of education; The implementation of individual instruction can reform class teaching system and complement each other's advantages at the same time; There isn't other ways but carrying out individual instruction to solve educational problems that are confronted with.Since the individual teaching thoughts were introduced into China, educationists started to reference and reform many kinds of theories to explore models of teaching that adapts to students, they also carried out a large amount of educational experiments and made remarkable progress, which injected fresh blood into educational thoughts and provided valuable experiences for educational reform. However, we should realize that the implementation of individual instruction in our country has many problems. This paper take six primary school in the country of Dong'e , Shandong province as an example to make a detailed investigation, then analyze the current situation and problem of implementing individual instruction in our country. Through the analysis, we can summarize the following questions: the individual instruction'theoretical basis is lack of originality; In the process of developing, we relay too much on individual'power and lack a set of development system on developing individualized teaching. As for the model itself, it pays attention to the changes of form excessively. There are not many changes in the content of courses and evaluation method. And the individual instruction doesn't get rid of restrict of traditional teaching mode; In the affected areas, it is limited to a subject, a school and a region. So it doesn't form the scale and impacts the traditional teaching mode. In addition, the shortage of educational input and teachers'low theory attainment also constrain the complementation of individual instruction.The time of implementing of individual instruction is very short , we are also lack of experience of implementing of individual instruction. Therefore, introducing the experience of abroad is very necessary. This paper discusses the experience of Britain and the United States at first, then analyses enlightenment to our country in order to formulate the corresponding measures.In our country, we shouldn't copy foreign modes blindly in the process of implementing individualized teaching, but rather exploring mode that is suitable to our country'educational situation and students. We should not just focus on surface form of individual instruction and set individual instruction against class teaching system, Instead we must run the thought of individual instruction through the whole teaching process. At the same time, we should reform from the training of teachers, the formulation of curriculum, the establish of good relationship between teachers and students and the reestablish of teaching evaluation mode in order to promote the effective implementation of individual instruction.
