The mission of University Logistics is to provide services for the education and research in universities. Varieties of reasons lead to the diversity of University Logistics employment. The issue of the New Labor Contract Law makes the University Logistics labor relations more complex, and also increases the labor dispute. Therefore, University Logistics management is facing challenges as well as changes. For the University Logistics, implementation of the New Labor Contract Law is not only a challenge, but also an opportunity, which will play a huge role in promoting the thorough adjustment of the University Logistics labor relations.This paper analyzes the changes in the New Labor Contract Law comparing to the former labor law, such as expansion of the scope, specifications of the labor contract, adjustment of the labor law, expansion of the application in the labor contract without fixed term, expansion of the application of economic compensation, limit of the liquidated damages clause, etc. On this basis, this paper analyzes the impacts these changes bring to the management of the University Logistics, and proposes the concept of standardizing labor employment, prevention of labor disputes, and construction of harmonious University Logistics labor relations.Taking Tsinghua University for example, some practical approaches and concrete measures that University Logistics took to deal with the New Labor Contract Law in the last three years are summarized in this paper. According to the current status of the University Logistics labor relations, combining with the relevant provisions of the new Labor Contract Law, this paper analyzes the problems exist in the management process of the current University Logistics, and proposes countermeasures and solutions to them. The analysis and study on the following factors are proposed:deepening of the logistics reform, establishment of scientific and standardized management system in human resources logistics, improvement of rules and regulations, good use of employee handbooks, increase of democratic participation, and playing the role of trade unions. Finally a main elaboration on constructing harmonious University Logistics labor relations is described.
