Harmonious labor relations is of great significance, it not only relates to the immediate interests of the individual, but also important for social stability and persistent economic development. Explore the methods and measures of building a harmonious labor relations is the ultimate goal of our labor relations’study, this paper illustrates the importance of improve the education level of labors to improve the labor relations by analyzing the influence of education on labor relations factors. Then we can through improve the level of national education to promote the labor relations towards a harmonious development.This paper summarizes the historical process of labor relations, through summarizing the process to find the argument of both sides of labor and capital, further clarify the representative factors for labor relations. On the premise of clearing labor relations factors, draw on the experience of research ideas and methods of scholars at home and abroad, through empirical analysis, this paper studied the influence of education on the six factors of labor relations, wage, work hour, labor contract, social security, vocation and union. By demonstrating the relationship between education and labor relations, we can find the way to build a harmonious labor relations, this demonstration is also a comprehensive exposition of education returns, it extend the education returns from simple salary return to generalized returns which include working hours, labor contract, social security, vacation and union return. This is helpful for us to understand the importance of education for personal development and social stability, correctly.The research results show that increasing length of education can improve the staffs salary income, the education returns of overall sample is 5.78%, the education returns of level of education in high school, vocational or technical school and above samples is 7.16%. In addition, increasing length of education can reduce gender discrimination and enterprise nature discrimination in salary. Increasing length of education can reduce staff work time. With the increasing of education years, labor welfare treatment can be improved. The increasing of education years can improve labor contract rate, social security participation rate, union participation rate, as well as legal holiday rest rate. We also find the effect of labor contract and union on pension insurance and medical insurance is obviously more than other factors, so regular labor contract and Establish sound union organizations are very important for improving social security welfare of labors.The conclusions of this study fully demonstrate the charm of education, it also clear reveals the positive effect of education on labor relations, and elaborates diversified return of education, meanwhile confirms the positive influence of labor contract and union on social security. In addition, it also provides the theoretical support for government to formulate relevant education policies and policies to improve labor relations. At the end of the paper, it gives the corresponding policy recommendations, these recommendations treat improving the education level of the general public as the starting point, at the same time it emphasizes the importance of signing labor contracts and strengthening the construction of trade unions.
