A Study On The Image Of Counselors In Beijing College Students' Minds

Counselors work in the first line of college students, they bear the task of ideological and political education, and guide the students to learn life; They are both college students mentor the growth of life, but also a close friend of the students can trust. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the image of college counselors, and counselors on the basis of quality should have a meaningful research topic.In this study, based on the research in the literature, the main qualitative research methods used by Beijing University students on 23 depth interviews to understand the instructor's image, the image analysis of college students on a realistic assessment of instructors and the ideal requirements, analysis of counselor Evaluation of their own image.Through analysis of interview data intensive exploration can come to the following conclusion: Firstly, the counselors image reflected in the specific work of counselors. Elements of the internal image of the counselor, including work ability, work attitude, work status, the will and cultural enrichment; external image of the elements including the manners and dress appearance. Secondly, college students and the instructor a realistic assessment of the image of the ideal requirements are different. Students the image of a realistic assessment of counselor positive attitude, and on this basis put forward higher requirements. Thirdly, the image of college students and counselors on the evaluation of counselors there are differences. Instructor than the students a better understanding of the nature and characteristics of their own work, therefore, more objective evaluation of counselor counselors reflected the image of the true situation.For the study concluded, for counselors to enhance the quality of the following recommendations: counselors should enhance learning; counselors should promote morality; counselor communication skills training should be strengthened; counselors to be good to play a dominant language; counselors should pay attention to their grooming.
