As one of the special important part of training excellent athletic talent, Badminton back-up personnel training plays an very important role in the training excellent athletic talent. To some extent, the bringing up; training; dispatching of back-up personnel training decide the achievement of China badminton.Shanghai is one of the earliest cities which participation in badminton in China. Badminton in shanghai has a history of nearly 100 years. Shanghai badminton team was on a high level for a long time. Excellent players will appear on every age of decades. On the middle of 1980th, Shanghai has built the center of badminton training, which strengthened administration system of badminton training. At the same time, Shanghai was also trying the many forms or shapes of the reserve team. For example, the cooperation of the sports school and community, the building reserve team of school. However, as the times progress and society advances, the whole level of Shanghai badminton are gradual decline in games. On the 11th National Games in Jinan, Shanghai badminton won no medal at all. Compare with the strong badminton province Jiangsu; Guangdong and Hunan, Shanghai are lag behind them. It show that badminton back-up personnel training of Shanghai still has a lot of problems which should be solved.Recently the research of badminton most focus on the statistics of technique and tactics; analysis of technique; and game systems. There are little badminton paper about badminton back-up personnel training.In this study, in order to know the current situation of tennis back-up personnel training in Shanghai, we used the literature survey, expert interviews, mathematical statistics, logic analysis to investigate the coaches, athletes, administrators, parents, etc. the conclusion as follow:1. The current situation of tennis back-up personnel management in Shanghai: Administrative system is a dual track backed by a management system, both systems perform their respective duties, clear division of labor is better. Shanghai has got first step of various kinds of training. However, back-up personnel training in Shanghai still were homogenized. It sill have not formed the system of various kinds of training. Besides, combination of sports and education about badminton still was being imperfect. But the training funds are enough. The supports of Shanghai in sports department are nowhere near enough.2. The current situation of tennis back-up personnel educational system in Shanghai:Shanghai Badminton Training form relatively homogeneous, there is no mechanism for the formation of diversified culture.3. The current situation of tennis back-up personnel facilities and funding in Shanghai:Facilities are better, more adequate number of training sites. Match funding mainly comes from training grants, members pay a single source of funding for more, but the overall culture and better funded 4. The current situation of badminton back-up personnel training in Shanghai: the quality of Shanghai badminton back-up personnel training are still need to be improved. However, the systematize of badminton training are good, and there are enough time for the back-up personnel training players to train. And the children are also study very hard. But the children are not know consider their future clearly. There are still some problems between study and training.5. The incomes of coaches are still on a low level.6 Problems in the process of cultivating badminton back-up personnel in Shanghai are:the form of cultivating is homogenized; he supports of Shanghai in sports department are nowhere near enough; The quality and quantity of back-up personnel training players need to be improved; the age structure of the coaches do not quite reasonable; coaches job training system is imperfect; The existing mechanisms and appraisal system have not formed; The incomes of coaches are still on a low level; the game system are imperfect.competition environment to be improved; insufficient funding; lack scientific material to choose the badminton back-up personnel.7 We should take the measures in the process of cultivating badminton back-up personnel and the solutions are:diversification of cultivating badminton back-up personnel players; We demanded that suitable regulations be drawn up as soon as possible in order to support badminton; reform the number of match, scale, and reform the competition system; The quality and quantity of back-up personnel training players need to be improved; build a strong coach team; perfect the existing mechanisms and appraisal system of coaches; scientific to choose the badminton back-up personnel; strength the system of combine sports and education.
