Research On The Education Of Core Values Of Socialism To The Graduates Of Heilongjiang Province

The 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee has decided to carry out the strategic task of constructing a system of socialist core values, which was clearly stated in the decision on several key issues of building a socialist harmonious society approved in this meeting. The report of 17th National Congress of the CPC pointed out that the system of socialist core values is the nature of socialist ideology, and the system of socialist core values must be infused into national education and cultural construction, so that it could become people's conscious behavior. This thesis has set up a goal for the improvement of the political and ideological education of the college students. It also serves as a guiding principle for the innovation of theories and practices of political and ideological education for the contemporary college students. Colleges and universities are the main constructing fields of socialist core values. They are loaded the tasks of cultivating qualified socialist builders and successors. They should regard the socialist core values as a dominant factor in college students'political and ideological education. This paper analyses the achievements as well as the shortcomings of the education of socialist core values in the universities in Heilongjiang Province based on questionnaires, and also puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the effects by organization, media, supplying and mechanism.
