An Investigation Of Integrity View On The Internet Of Colleage Students

Internet becomes to be an very important part of human society day by day.More and more researchers pay close attention to the integrity behaviour of colleage students on the Internet,because they are the mian part of the cyber citizen.This research attempts to find out the current situation of colleage students'integrity behaviour and the main reason from the aspect of concept and view of integrity on the Internet.This reaserch based on the concept and view of integrity theory of professor Weili Fu,and did the questionnaire suvey in two colleages of Dalian with the self-designed questionnaire.This atricle analyses the honest behaviour and keeping faith on the Internet in the aspect of the integrity knowledge on the Internet and the value of the integrity on the Internet.The integrity knowledge on the Internet includes the comprehention of this concept and the evaluation of the Internet behaviour. honest behaviour and keeping faith on the Internet are analysed from the aspects of object,expected benefit and frequency.The conclusion of the research is:First of all,most of colleage students do not understant"integrity on the Ineternet"clearly and correctly.Secondly,there are slightly differents between the integrity behaviour and keeping faith on the Internet.In the aspect of object,when colleage students communicate with others on the net,they use the same criterion to evaluate theirs and others honest behaviour and keeping faith behaviour,that is:lower sights from acquaintances to stangers.In the aspect of expected benefit,colleage students tend to overvalue their integrity behaviour while underestimating others'integrity behaviour when they hunting job and communicating on the net.when colleage students do online shopping,they use the same criterion to evaluate theirs and others'integrity behaviour on the Internet.In the aspect of frenquency,colleage students use obviously double standards to evaluate the integrity behaviour in the activities of online communication and onlin shopping.when colleage students evaluate the keeping faith behaviour on the net,they use the same criterion,but when it comes to the online shopping ,the also use the double standards.The third one,on the value level ,colleage students believe the value of integrity on the net is dying down from large group to microcommunity to individual person.Sex,grade and the region where students come from have no significant differences in this research.The researcher explores the causation from culture of society,education of integrity and self-cultivation of integrity.To improve colleage students'intergrity view on the net,the researcher make some suggestions as follows:Improving rules and regulations on the net. tighten up the Internet legal system; Network groups institute achievable regulations; Extending the influence of public voice on the Internet; Universities add integrity on the Internet as teaching contents; Deepening understanding of the integrity value on the Internet of colleage students;Decreasing egocentrism behaviour; Cultivating the spirit of mutual benefit.
