Along with the quick development of globalization economy, and with the fast multifarious outward communication, the English teaching lays more important position in the high school education. Cultural teaching has been already become one of the teaching targets of the National English Curriculum Standards, which makes English cultural teaching be outstanding in high school teachings. For the sake of the development of students'English communication ability, teachers want to combine teaching materials to culture to students according to the synchronously and find out the influence language to effectively deliver cultural teaching into language teaching. It is necessary for students to communicate with each other in English. NMET not only tests grammar and vocabulary ,but also the knowledge of culture. So it makes it necessary for the teachers and students to strengthen cultural consciousness and control language from cultural language context..However, the traditional foreign language teaching is still very popular in the current foreign language teaching. In the traditional foreign language teaching, the teacher usually emphasizes the accuracy of language structure and speech structure, but neglect the correct usage of learning the language. As a result of that, when a student communicate with a foreigner face to face, embarrassment take lace frequently. Investigate its reason, the writer thinks, this is the traditional foreign language teaching that ignores the application of context theory into their language teaching.Language is closely connected with context, and context has a great influence on the understanding and use of language, therefore, foreign language teaching and learning should be carried on in context. With the flying development of our country's economy and science technology, the social intercourse activity of cross-cultural is more and more. The ability that the language carries on cross-cultural social intercourse of a learner is more and more convexes now.Based on a survey study conducted in senior schools, this text aims to put forward an effective mode that cultural language context carries on foreign language teaching by investigating the relationship of the language context, cultural language context, social intercourse ability , so as to improve the quality of foreign language teaching and learning in our country.This thesis consists of five chapters. Chapter One is an introduction to the study and a brief conclusion. Chapter Two is Literature Review; Chapter Three elaborates the related concepts and theories concerning language context, cultural language context and social intercourse ability, and their relationship between English teachings. This chapter provides a theoretical foundation for the experiments in which we played cultural context into FLT in chapter four. Chapter Four is a survey study and an experiment. According to the comprehension of their cultural background theories through cultural background in FLT now, the survey has already investigated some teachers and students in the senior high schools. Based on the survey, an experiment of 16 weeks is carried out to test the effectiveness of English teaching in senior high school in cultural language context. It is the soul of this essay. The number asses to carry on analysis with the social science statistics analysis software get related change to measure repeatedly number and average, Sigma. The last chapter, chapter five enumerated the result, limit and enlightenment in English teaching of the experiment. We can know from the analysis that the students in the experimental group had a remarkable progress in studying language the interest of their studying English has been arose. Thus rove that it is viable to apply cultural language context to English teaching. However, the current research can not solve all problems in English teaching in the high school, the existent problems are still treated to further solve in the research in the future. And in this chapter, a whole review of this essay is conducted and a prospect on the study of putting cultural context theory to FLT. Finally, I hope that this thesis can give readers some inspiration.
