Awareness of questioning is the precondition and base of innovation, strengthening the wareness of questioning is the key to cultivating innovative talents. This article has a survey of the present situation of senior high students'wareness of questioning by questionnaires . Survey showed that the situation is worrying: some students don't like to ask questions, some students don't dare ask questions,and some others can not ask question. The causes are maniffold.This article analyses the causes, and tries to find a solution to the problem.The whole article consists of four parts: in the first part, it mainly talks about the writer's understanding of question and sense of questioning, the cause of raising questions, the significance of the research and the theoretical basis; in the second part, mainly aims to investigate and analyze the current situation and causes of high school students'problem consciousness. The subjects of my survey include 960 students, who are either from 13 classes of Grade One or 8 classes of Grade Two. The first questionnaire is designed to help get a better understanding of the current situation of students'problem consciousness and the second one is to get the information of the causes. According to the analysis of the results of the investigation, we can draw the conclusion that the consciousness of problems among high school students is relatively weak. Besides the influence of teachers and the society as well as some other external causes, the primary causes of this phenomenon are the following factors such as psychology, habit, ability, etc;in the third part, illustrates the urgency and possibility of changing the present situation of senior high students sense of questioning; in the fourth part, summarizes some cultivation strategies from the cause analysis, including transforming the teaching concept, cultivating students'habit of positive learning and the ability of putting forward questions, as well as creating proper problem scenarios and warm class atmosphere.
