Aerobic Gymnastics is performed along the music. The routines consist of integrated series of continuous, complex and highly difficult acrobatic skills and are originated from aerobic exercises. Aerobic Gymnastics has become the favorite competitive sport young aerobic gymnasts from all over the world dream to participate. It has been recognized by International Olympic Committee and is possibly becoming one of the new sports in the future Summer Olympic Games program.Federation International de Gymnasium or FIG has decided to include Aerobic Gymnastics as one of the competition events in 1995 and allowed entry competitors by age division, starting from age of 9. Aerobic Gymnastics team of Hong Kong was formed in 2005 and has participated the 2nd Aerobic Gymnastics World Championship 2006 in Nanjing (China).This paper is to delineate the experimental research specially designed to the benefit of better development of Aerobic Gymnastics in Hong Kong Secondary and Primary Schools, in turn, through practicing Aerobic Gymnastics, to improve individual physical and mental health of youth in Hong Kong, and also with the purpose of nurturing outstanding Hong Kong Aerobic Gymnastics competitors and the formal governance of Hong Kong Aerobic Gymnastics curriculum. This research adheres to the FIG "Rules of Aerobic Gymnastics (2005~2008)", via such as lseat body ante flexion 2 standing long jump 3 push up 4 physical coordination physiological index and 5 choice reaction time 6 memory power7attention and 8 Bodily self-potency meter biochemical index. A random sample of 20 Primary 2 and 3 students (age 8-9) was taken from Canossa Primary School of Hong Kong as experimental and control group. During a period of two months, the experimental group undertook Aerobic Gymnastics training session of medium level difficulty,1.5 hour for each session and twice a week. Statistics analysis is then stipulated for both experimental and control groups to compare the pre-and pro-training data corresponding to the abovementioned indicators, obtaining the following result:the four physical indicators have shown palpable increase in the experimental group undertaken the Aerobic Gymnastics training, even higher than those from the control group. As for mental indicators, exceptfor choice reaction time, the rest of three indicators indicate observable improvement and are higher than those from the control group.Conclusion:Aerobic Gymnastics training during childhood can enhance children's physical ability, exploit mind and brainpower and uphold mental health development.
