In the context of the continuous promotion of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao greater bay area as a national strategy,there are increasingly close economic,social,cultural and educational exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland.Due to geographical advantages,more and more students from Hong Kong choose to study in Shenzhen,but there are cultural differences between Shenzhen and the mainland,such as Chinese and western culture,values,political culture,educational culture and language.Because of these cultural differences,they face the challenge of acculturation,and the problem of acculturation is increasingly prominent.This paper takes the Hong Kong students of Shenzhen university as the abstract object.y means of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper attempts to explore the acculturation status of students in Shenzhen and Hong Kong from the perspectives of acculturation theory from three dimensions: life level,learning level and social integration level.Through the questionnaire results,the satisfaction degree of acculturation of Hong Kong college students was analyzed,including their basic situation,overall acculturation,acculturation in life,acculturation in learning and acculturation in social integration.Generally speaking,Hong Kong college students have a strong degree of satisfaction with acculturation,and the lowest degree of satisfaction with acculturation in learning.The main barriers to acculturation are lack of understanding of relevant policies in the mainland,inadequate course teaching,and inadequate interpersonal communication and social support.Through correlation analysis,it is found that there is a correlation between life,study,social integration and acculturation.In view of the acculturation barriers and current situation of Hong Kong students,the author puts forward Suggestions from three aspects: Hong Kong students,schools and society.Second,actively carry out cross-cultural communication during my stay in the mainland;Third,cultivate their own independence and consciousness.As for the university,themanagement and service of Hong Kong college students should be strengthened.First,the standardized management of Hong Kong students should be promoted.Second,pay attention to the combination of social practice,national education,teaching and training;Third,give full play to the role of student organizations,establish research organizations or related organizations of Hong Kong students,establish contacts between Hong Kong students and mainland students,and understand the needs of Hong Kong students;Fourth,make good use of new media to manage and guide Hong Kong students;Fifth,provide psychological counseling services for students from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,including Hong Kong students.As for the society,we should attach importance to and guide the acculturation of Hong Kong students.Second,continue to promote social policies targeted at young people in Hong Kong as part of the country’s future policy plan;Third,strengthen the construction of a platform for youth exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong to promote the friendly exchanges between the youth of the two places.
