The Scheme Of Evolution In Difficulties For The Group Of China's Rhythmic Gymnastics During 2009-2012

China's Rhythmic Gymnastics Team has performed excellent in Group Events during Beijing Olympic Games. However, how would the team perform in the next Game is getting more and more focused. Chinese athletes used benefiting-themselves from high degree of difficulties in the past in international tournaments, with usually remarkable technical scores. In the new Olympic period however, Apparatus Difficulties (additional score for risk, difficulty and originality) is involved, therefore, this study of a scheme on the basis of our current difficulty-background is essentially necessary not only for getting prepared for the new international tendency, but also would claim a relevant reference for the 2012 Olympic Games.This research is conducted with the Literature analysis and Video analysis methods, which deeply studied the difficulty factor of Chinese and foreign teams and made further contrasts. The result shows:Difficulties imbalance truly exists in D1 i.e. Body Movement Difficulties in our groups. Difficulties with Exchange of Apparatus and Difficulties without Exchanging are somehow inversed. In other words, a higher degree of Difficulties without Exchanging often help teams with higher scores, vice versa. This indicates that at some level the Difficulties without Exchanging judges a team. Difficulty with Exchange of Apparatus should be subject to the Difficulties without Exchanging, in order to show the techniques of the whole group.Compared with the top foreign teams, most of our own teams apply for high scores in D1/D2, but the scoring is low in the end, especially for D2. Therefore, the fundamental goals for our teams should be training hard, making progress in body movements and apparatus handling, instead of the pursuit of applying high.The implement of general rules for 2009-2012 indicates that we are in some degree lagged in the aspect of innovation seeking and risk taking for new movements behind top teams in the world, or even the world general level. This is worthy for us to rethink and catch up.China's Group team still has a long way to go for the 2012 Olympic Games. Our team ought to take the advantage of good Body Movements, make further steps to the training of apparatus. Difficulties with high risk for apparatus should be also coordinated with originality for new values, so as to improve the combination of body techniques and apparatus techniques.
