The main purpose of this research is to explore the difficulties and obstacles for the junior 3 in solving Moving Point Problem, to analysis the affect factors of problem-solving, thus to develop appropriate teaching strategies and able to effectively guide the teaching, at the same time, this research can provide instruction for other teachers, has some practical value.It is found that the students have difficulties in the follow areas:1. Use of Classification Discussion. Over 90% of the students consider that lack of solution is their common mistakes. They have conscious of Classification Discussion, bur it is related to the background of the problem, the more complex the background is, the more difficult for the students to distinguish, students have a good understanding of the standard of Classification Discussion, but some are not clear and flexible.2. Use of Symbolic-graphic combination. Most of the junior 3 tend to solve problems using algebra, a few student can flexible solve problems using Symbolic-graphic combination, a few students can't understand the meaning of Classification Construction, they simply account their difficulties to basic construction.3. Search for constant and equivalent relationship. There is a big difference between the junior 3 students in searching for the constant and equivalent relationship of the problems.4. All of the students have difficulties in Painting Guides, the excellence regard domain as the biggest difficulty, thus the secondary and poor students have difficulties in spatial imagination and reading.There are three courses of the mistakes in solving Moving Point Problem:the factors of problems, teachers and students, the paper provides some suggestions for teaching.
