In Qingpu Experimental Research, the research group verified the students' mathematic knowledge competence into four cognition levels, they are Calculation Level, Concept Level, Comprehension Level and Analysis Level. While the first two levels belong to lower competence performance, the students'cognition ability in mathematic reasoning and deducting can be waked up in the last two levels. However, by the these levels, Comprehension Level and Analysis Level, students'performance in the experimental tests can not be presented exactly, as they themselves have some big differences in the performance. In this paper, we will see the analytical framework refined in detail. And, by this foundation and some Grade-Eight-students as the object of the study, I did the job by the followings:Firstly, we invited the summer training-teachers in East China Normal University to be the sample questionnaires. The context of the questionnaires were mainly in three aspects:1. The views of the students'status in Mathematical reasoning and proving; 2. The possible factors on the influence of students' performance levels; and 3. The related teaching strategies.Secondly, on the basis of collecting information from the questionnaire teachers, I made some test on students'mathematical reasoning and proving abilities in three different type schools----outhwest WEI YU middle school, WU JING middle school and East China Model High school. After then, I gave the test case analysis in the bellowing paper.Thirdly, I interviewed three math teachers from grade seven or eight in East China Model school. By the help of them, I got more views of the cognitive level of student-reasoning-and-proving-status, the relevant teaching strategies, class preparations and so on.Forthly, the author participated in eighth-grade mathematics teaching affairs, the process of teaching and research activities (duration of three months) in East China Model School. What's more, I collected two teaching cases, which will be analysed in this article, accumulated to mathematical reasoning and proving.Finally, the above survey, testing, interviews, case studies, based on the teaching strategies put forward a little. Teaching strategies need more teachers in the practice of front-line summary of sublimation.From this survey, we find, according to the student's mathematics reasoning and proving ability, that, the investigated student have certain flaw in the rigor proof and thoughts; induction, summary, abstract ability as well as error correction ability. Also, they have certain paradigm while they are thinking.There are some inadequancies in this article:1. The sample size is not big enough to give fully statements of the students'status; 2. If there was more time, we could make a related experimental research. And that would be much better.
