The Problem And Solution For Entrepreneurship Education In Secondary Technical School

Since the start of 21st century, there has appeared a global wave of business startup. With the development of business startup, entrepreneurship education in China is also being tried and developing continuously. Currently in China, entrepreneurship education in universities and colleges is developing fast, but that in vocational schools is lagging behind. A large amount of vocational schools in China cannot keep pace with the times in educational philosophy, training objectives and majors offered. How to consider business startup by students at vocational schools, how to adjust education objectives and directions to realize double-track education system with the parallel of employment and business startup that vocational schools have become important issues must be paid attention to. This thesis is to explore entrepreneurship education in vocational schools. It has four parts.In Part One, entrepreneurship education and its importance in vocational education are introduced. By analyzing the definition of entrepreneurship education, it is made clear that carrying out entrepreneurship education in vocational schools meets the needs of training creative talents who can meets the demands of social development, of helping the vocational school students to better adapt to the society and serve the society, and of the educational reformation in vocational schools.In Part Two, the existing problems in entrepreneurship education in vocational schools are discussed. Through investigating part of vocational schools in Zhanjiang City and reviewing entrepreneurship education at home and abroad, the author points out some existing problems of entrepreneurship education in vocational schools, which include that educational objectives are not clear, educational contents are comparatively casual, educational methods are simple and the efficiency of educational activities are low.In Part Three, the causes of problems in entrepreneurship education in vocational schools are explored. By analyzing the current situation and educational practice of entrepreneurship education in vocational schools, the author regards that the causes of the problems are bearing outdated ideas and lacking of consciousness in entrepreneurship education, lagging behind in courses set up, lacking of entrepreneurship education teachers, and the weakness of entrepreneurship education practice.In Part Four, the countermeasures to improve entrepreneurship education in vocational schools are proposed. The author suggests to strengthen courses building up to set pertinent educational contents, to change ideas and strengthen awareness, to train a team of teachers of diversity and with high quality, to strengthen practice and build up practice bases in entrepreneurship education.
